Desktop and mobile guidance

GET STARTED & EXPLORE

From installation to daily study.

GUIDE 01

Install and start

Check Downloads for the verified build, requirements and installation guidance for your device. Desktop trial availability depends on eligibility. Android and iOS use mobile free mode or account sign-in, rather than desktop trial activation. Keep your installed version handy when seeking help.

GUIDE 02

Check the inputs for your first chart

Enter the name, date, time and place, and review the time-zone interpretation before calculating. Check the intended ayanamsa and house system. Mobile uses date/time pickers; desktop controls differ. Incorrect time or place can change the result even when the same calculation settings are used.

Start with planetary positions and house/cusp information. Explore the relevant Vedic, KP, cuspal-link or annual-analysis components. The Features catalogue explains the available families without assuming every platform has identical controls.

GUIDE 03

Follow Dasa and transits

Open the relevant Dasa component or Transits tool to study timing. For an organized interval report, use Transit Print, choose the planet or Ascendant, set the date interval and detail level, then calculate before printing or sharing. Longer intervals and deeper levels can take more time.

GUIDE 04

Read Panchang for a day and place

Choose the Panchang date and place independently of the natal chart. Review daily limbs and astronomy, calendars, muhurta, Lagna/Panchaka, Chandrabalam/Tarabalam and supported festivals. Check Panchang’s own ayanamsa selection. A transition after midnight includes the date; observances and conditions depend on the chosen day and calculation mode.

GUIDE 05 · KEEP YOUR WORK

Save your work

Use Save and choose a local destination through the platform’s file controls. Pay attention to unsaved-document warnings. A chart opened from cloud stays in memory as unsaved until you save it locally. Desktop session restoration is separate from saving a chart; Android and iOS do not use desktop session restoration.

A cloud chart remains unsaved until you save it locally.

GUIDE 06 · CONNECTED CHARTS

Connect your own cloud storage

An active paid license is required. Desktop trial, mobile free mode and rewards-based Pro do not qualify. Connect Google Drive on supported configured native platforms, or iCloud on supported Apple builds. Cloud availability also depends on provider configuration and release validation.

Connect & import

Desktop: connecting storage authorizes access but does not import all previous charts. Use Bulk Sync to choose files or folders; subfolders are scanned. Mobile: connection imports charts already managed by the app’s saving system.

Save & open

Saving stages a copy for background upload. Open from Cloud searches the shared index by name and supports filters and sorting; chart data downloads when selected. Refresh the index manually when needed. Deleting a local file does not delete its cloud copy, and a cloud chart is not silently saved to Documents.

Retry & review

If authorization or an upload fails, keep the local file and check the provider connection and available retry controls. For a conflict, review the pending change before choosing which version to keep. Do not assume a refresh uploads pending charts or resolves a conflict.

FINISH YOUR WORKSPACE

Prepare your output. Make it familiar.

GUIDE 07

Prepare a report

Desktop offers screen-specific preview and output controls; Panchang includes Preview, Print and PDF. Phones use Print and Share. Use a separate desktop print layout to organize report objects and headers/footers. Phone layouts automatically become portrait cards and have no design mode; tablet behavior requires release verification.

GUIDE 08

Choose appearance and language

Desktop has layout, appearance and font controls. Mobile follows device theme and interface font while charts stay light. Choose from the language files installed in your build. If a language is missing, check that the distributed build includes the relevant file before treating it as a calculation problem.

CHECK BEFORE ASKING FOR HELP

Troubleshooting checklist

Chart results & account access

Different chart results: compare date, time, time-zone interpretation, place coordinates, ayanamsa, house system and other conventions. Access problem: record whether you use desktop trial, mobile free mode, rewards access or paid sign-in, and include the exact error without passwords or license secrets.

Cloud, saving, print & permissions

Cloud chart missing: check the connected provider, pending upload state and index refresh; desktop old files need Bulk Sync. Unsaved cloud chart: use Save to choose a local destination. Print sizing: check report layout, paper size and platform print settings. Unavailable permission: use the platform’s permission controls only for the feature you intend to use.
